The Pangolin Chobe hotel is situated on a plateau, a few hundred meters from the Chobe National Park. The hotels offer a view of the Chobe river as well as the Caprivi floodplains in Namibia. Because they are situated so close to the park their vehicles are often the first vehicles to enter the park. Their boats are a mere 5min transfer away from the hotel.
It is a short transfer between the Hotel the Kasane International airport, as well as the Zambian and Zimbabwean borders.
The hotel consist of 14 rooms. The rooms have been designed to maximize space. As the pangolin specialize in photo safaris there is plenty of space for electronics and chargers.
All rooms are en-suite with air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and safes. Each room has a private balcony with a side table and chairs, from where you can enjoy the beautiful view.

The Pangolin houseboat is ideal for groups of friends or families, or even a photography club, who would like to spend a few days on the river in one of the most photographic regions of the world.
The houseboat accommodates 10 people in 5 rooms. These rooms can either have twin beds or a double bed. Each room has an en-suite shower and toilet as well as air-conditioning. The air-conditioner is controlled at a central point as they use solar power on the houseboat.
Meals and drink are served on the houseboat. There will also be morning and afternoon activities. Houseboats require a minimum stay of 3 nights. Please send us a message should you wish to book a houseboat journey for your friends of family.

Early morning before departure to activities you will be served a light breakfast. This breakfast includes, coffee, tea juices, cereals and toast. During the activities you will be served coffee, tea and rusks.
After the morning activities you will be served with an excellent brunch. This brunch will usually see you through to dinner, but just before the afternoon activities a scrumptious afternoon tea will be served. During the afternoon activity you can choose to enjoy soft drinks, waters or perhaps something a little stronger. The menu for the evening meal offers a variety of meals. Some evenings it will be plated meals. Some evenings it will be a barbeque and some evenings they even offer gourmet pizzas
Most of the meals are served on the deck in front of the hotel. The deck leads out to a large fire pit, the fire pit is surrounded by the pool. This is a favorite area for guests before and after dinner. The Pangolin bar has fantastic view of the Chobe River. The Bar serves an array of cocktails, beers and wine.
