The Lodge is situated in the spectacular red sand dunes northeast of Mariental in Namibia. This area used to be the hunting ground of the Bushmen inhabitants. You can choose between four lodges at the Intu Africa Kalahari Game Lodge: the Zebra Kalahari Lodge, the Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge as well as the Suricate Tented Lodge. The Zebra Kalahari Lodge, situated on a grassy plain surrounded by acacia trees and red sand dunes, offers 8 standard rooms and 5 luxury suites. The Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge, set among a copse of camelthorn trees between the red sand dunes, offers 12 standard rooms. The Suricate Tented Lodge, on a red sand dune overlooking a wetland system, offers 11 luxury tents and one honeymoon tent. All of the above have en suite bathrooms. The rooms/suites at the Zebra and Camelthorn Kalahari Lodges are all air-conditioned, while the tents at the Suricate Tented Lodge have lounge areas and charming secluded open-air showers. The living area of each lodge offers a sun deck, swimming pool, restaurant, lounge, bar – and, of course, a giant camelthorn tree.
