Carved out of the mountain rock, you have an unspoilt view which seems to go on forever. The cuisine is likely to excite even the most jaded of palates. Chefs really go out of their way to spoil guests with gourmet meals and use plenty of fresh ingredients from the Lodge’s herb garden.
Ugab Terrace Lodge is situated on a plateau on the D2743 Route, 67 km east of Khorixas and 101 km west of Outjo. It offers you a never-ending view across the vast plains of the Damaraland region.
Guests are accommodated in 10 private bungalows, all en suite and with a private verandah overlooking the breath-taking landscape of the Ugab Terraces. The Ugab Terrace Lodge also offers 8 luxury tents, all on platforms and all en suite. Much attention has been paid to the interior decorating, so that it reflects the colours and mood of the Damaraland landscape. Two of the bungalows are wheelchair friendly.
Horse lovers can explore the surroundings on horseback, while the Ugab Terrace Lodge also caters for mountain bikers. Those preferring a more leisurely activity can do bird watching or hike along one of the may trails. The famous Twyfelfontein rock engraving and Burnt Mountain lie approximately 160 km from Ugab Terrace Lodge.For the adventurous there are a Zip line, nature drives and walking trails.
