At Monteiro you can feel the closeness of nature, and if fortunate enough, you might spot a kudu, Oryx, eland, warthog or even the near-endemic Hartmanns Mountain zebra. Bird watching is spectacular here. You can also visit the only railway tunnel in Namibia, and also the attractions Windhoek provides which is just minutes away.
